Why am I not able to verify or view the file?

If a file is shown as ‘not verified’ and can’t be viewed after you upload or drag and drop it at the space above, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

• The OpenCert file may have been accidentally modified during the download process and it is no longer in the original .opencert file extension.
• The PDF file is a normal PDF document and not in a verifiable PDF format.
• The OpenCert file or PDF file has been tampered and could not be rendered.
• The OpenCert file was not issued by an NUS entity

Please refer to FAQ portal (under Ask A Question) for assistance if you can’t view the original file.
