Overview and Eligibility for Part-time Undergraduates

Eligibility for Part-time Undergraduates


Financially needy NUS part-time undergraduate students who are Singapore Citizens and pursuing the Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Science (Nursing Practice) programmes have the following options available to finance their studies:

  • NUS Financial Aid Package comprising the Higher Education Bursary, and MOE Study Loan (previously known as NUS Study Loan)
  • Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) – PCI criteria is not applicable


Students under the following circumstances are NOT eligible:

(i)    Pursuing Earn and Learn Programmes (ELPs);

(ii)   Paying unsubsidised tuition fees (due to already attained an undergraduate degree); and

(iii)   Pursuing programmes that do not lead to the attainment of a full qualification part-time degree programme.

Submit ONE Financial Aid Application to Office of Financial Aid to be considered for the NUS-administered Financial Aid Package. An email will be sent on the specific application period in July or December.
