Application Procedure

There are 2 parts to the application.

For the application to be considered as fully complete, please complete a hard copy application (download the application form here).

Duly completed applications can submitted via email to nusstudyabroad@nus.edu.sg with the subject title: DUO-Out: [SEP University]-[Semester] (i.e. DUO-Out: Sciences Po-Sem 1). Keep the completed hard copy application form as you will need to submit it if you are shortlisted.

Application Part 2 (Only shortlisted applicants need to proceed to Part 2)

This award is very competitive with hundreds of applications for the selection of three pairs of incoming and outgoing students. Due to the high number of applicants, only shortlisted candidates would be informed to provide supporting documents. Those who do not receive any email notification by end-March can conclude that their applications have been unsuccessful.
Instructions to shortlisted candidates would be provided separately via email.

Please note that the DUO is NOT a separate exchange programme. It is a form of financial aid that aims to defray the students’ overseas cost. Only students who have already been selected for SEP by their faculties/schools and assigned a partner university in a European ASEM-member country need apply.
