The Impact of Study Abroad Programmes on Graduate Employment Outcomes (Pre-print)

This paper examines the impact of study abroad programmes on three outcomes, namely, (1) the salary of graduates’ first job upon graduation, (2) their job search duration and (3) their academic performance at graduation. This is achieved by merging a dataset that contains information about undergraduates’ participation in study abroad programmes during the period 2007-2013 while in the National University of Singapore with the self-reported outcomes in the Graduate Employment Survey.
