CELC at the NUS Lifelong Learning Festival 2026
On 26 September 2026, the Centre for English Language Communication (CELC) participated in the NUS Lifelong Learning Festival, jointly organised by the NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) and the NUS Graduate School.
At the CELC booth, staff engaged with prospective students and introduced the Centre’s newly launched graduate programmes in English Communication Teaching: the Master of Arts, Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate. The festival provided a valuable platform to raise awareness of these new offerings and connect with prospective applicants. Visitors showed keen interest in the programmes, asking about their distinctive features, curriculum structure and potential career pathways.
A key highlight was the masterclass, “Teaching and Persuasion,” conducted by Programme Director Dr Zhou Ziqian. The session offered participants a taste of the engaging and interactive learning experience they can expect from the programmes. The strong interest generated was evident in the lively participation during the session, as well as the number of attendees who stayed behind afterwards to speak with Dr Zhou, ask further questions and learn more about the programmes.
