Non-NUS users are required to set a new password when logging in to Canvas. Please follow the instructions here.

Canvas has been restored and access is now available to active teaching staff as well as students enrolled in Special Term Part 1 courses from 12 noon on Sunday, 10 May 2026.

Access for other student groups will be restored progressively, with further updates to follow.

Students enrolled in Special Term Part 1 courses will be able to access these courses on Canvas from 12 noon on Sunday, 10 May.

Access for all other students will be restored at a later date. We will provide further updates once the arrangements are confirmed.

External (non-NUS) accounts have been temporarily disabled as a precaution. We apologise for the inconvenience.

In light of recent events, please exercise an abundance of caution when navigating Canvas.

All Users

1. Avoid interacting with or clicking any suspicious links, messages or external content.
2. Do not key NUS-ID password into any popup boxes in Canvas. Instead, take a screenshot and sent to itcare@nus.edu.sg

Instructors

1. Verify grades against other sources such as downloaded grade reports or Examsoft.
2. Backup grades, submissions and course material in Dropbox, which has ample storage.

Also:

1. Do not provide your NUS-ID or password on any non-NUS sites.
2. Report any suspicious activity or unusual course content to itcare@nus.edu.sg immediately.
