Tetyana SMOTROVA is a Lecturer at CELC, where she has taught proficiency and communication courses both to undergraduate and graduate students, focusing on business communication, research writing, and research oral presentations. She obtained her PhD degree from the Pennsylvania State University in the U.S., department of Applied Linguistics. Her research focuses on the teacher and students’ use of hand gestures in the English classroom, but, more broadly, her research interests also include: multimodality, classroom interaction, and ESP.
