| Nina VENKATARAMAN is a Lecturer at the Centre for English Language Communication, National University of Singapore. She teaches academic writing and climate communication, with a particular focus on the ways language and images shape public understandings of sustainability and the climate crisis. Her research examines erasure in environmental discourse, drawing on ecolinguistics and visual discourse analysis to explore how communication makes some voices, relationships, and futures visible while rendering others invisible. She serves on the Steering Committee of the International Ecolinguistics Association and is a reviewer for Language & Ecology. | |
