Application for Financial Aid for Prospective Students

(a) Returning National Servicemen reading the iBLOC modules

You may apply for Financial Aid from 15 October 2014 to 9 January 2015 and be considered for the NUS Study Loan1. Please apply via the Undergraduate Financial Aid Portal under (1) Prospective Undergraduate Students and select Academic Year 2015/2016 Semester 1 using your undergraduate admission application no. and PIN2. This set of admission application no. and PIN was given to you when you applied for admission to NUS full-time undergraduate course. You will also be automatically considered for Financial Aid for the Special Terms (if applicable) and Academic Year 2015/16.

(b) Returning National Servicemen reading the Special Term modules

You may apply for Financial Aid from 15 October 2014 to 1 April 2015.

Please apply via the Undergraduate Financial Aid Portal under (1) Prospective Undergraduate Students and select Academic Year 2015/2016 Semester 1 using your undergraduate admission application no. and PIN2. You will also be automatically considered for Financial Aid for the Academic Year 2015/16.

For students reading the Special Term modules, please note that you will be considered for the NUS Study Loan3 while students reading the Academic Year 2015/2016 modules will be considered for the full Financial Aid Package4.

(c) Prospective Students/ Returning National Servicemen reading the Academic Year 2015/16 modules

You may apply for Financial Aid from 15 October 2014 to 1 April 2015 after you have submitted your admissions application.

1 The NUS Study Loan will help to pay for up to 20% of your tuition fee. You can apply for the Tuition Fee Loan and Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) to pay for the balance of your tuition fee. More information on these schemes can be found at our website as mentioned above.

2 This set of admission application no. and PIN was given to you when you applied for admission to NUS full-time undergraduate course. Please do not use the set of admission application no. given to you during your application for the iBLOC or Special Terms.

3The NUS Study Loan will help to pay for up to 20% of your tuition fee. 4The full Financial Aid Package comprises the NUS Study Loan, NUS/Faculty Bursary, CDC/CCC Bursary, MOE Bursary, NUS Student Assistance Loan, Residential Programme Bursaries/UTown Bursary and the Work-Study Assistance Scheme. Application for Financial Aid for Existing Undergraduate Students

(a) Application for Financial Aid for Academic Year 2014/15

Application has closed. If you are in need for financial assistance now, you may login to the Undergraduate Financial Aid Portal under (2) Existing Undergraduate Students to state the reason(s) for your late application and proceed to apply accordingly. We will consider your application on a case-by-case basis.

(b) Application for Financial Aid for Academic Year 2015/2016

You may apply for Financial Aid from 1 February 2015 to 1 April 2015 via the Undergraduate Financial Aid Portal, under (2) Existing Undergraduate Students.

Application Form (Summary) and Supporting Documents for Financial Aid

The Application Form (Summary) and supporting documents are to reach the Office of Financial Aid (by post/hand) within two weeks from the online application date. You are also advised to login to view your application status or check your email regularly to avoid missing any important message.
