The outcome of this election could set the direction and tone for the nation for the next five years and beyond. Assoc Prof (Practice) Terence Ho from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS foresees that issues such as cost of living, jobs and birth rates will be discussed, and hopes that attention will be given to the longer-term vision for Singapore.
