What our students say

The mentors in this programme are really friendly and tailor their sharing to each participant's background. They take a holistic approach to help participants become career-ready, providing a coaching rather than prescriptive style to mentoring. Truly appreciated!

— Year 4 Student, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

The first session has been a great starting point for me to define true success by knowing the meaning of life. I reflected a lot on myself and realised I should focus on significance rather than mere success. Following that, I learnt how to communicate and, as a servant leader, how to gain trust and act with integrity in myself and in front of others. These sessions were so powerful and enlightening. I would definitely recommend this programme to my juniors and friends!

— Year 4 Student, College of Design and Engineering

I have become more confident in myself. I know the values and knowledge I have are right and will help me live a happy life. I am more determined about my purpose in life and will certainly pursue it. I have paid more attention to my family and friends and cherished the bonds between us.

— Year 4 Student, School of Computing

I benefitted from the Heart of Leadership mentorship through the different topics covered. I especially liked the Trust and Integrity workshop, as it exposed me to the real-world dilemma that working professionals face and how we should stand up for what is right and do the right thing.
