Mr Chong is Group President and CEO and an Executive Director of ST Engineering, a global technology, defence and engineering group with a portfolio of businesses across the aerospace, smart city, defence and public security segments. Prior to joining ST Engineering in 2014, Mr Chong spent 20 years at ExxonMobil, where he held senior leadership roles in global and regional business management while being based in USA, UK, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. He serves on the boards of Jurong Port and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and was a member of Singapore’s Economic Strategy Review Committee on Global Competitiveness. Mr Chong holds a First-Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering Singapore and was conferred the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award by NUS in 2021.
