Ms Lily
Cheng is the founder of a boutique applied AI research and advisory firm, Hubel
Labs, and serves as an independent Non-Executive Director of public companies
including Cathay Pacific Limited (HKSE: 0293) and Chow Tai Fook Jewelry Limited
(HKSE:1929). In addition to public directorships, Ms Cheng is also an
external Non-executive Council member of international law firm, Herbert Smith
Freehills Kramer LLP and a member of the statutory Board of Directors of the
Government Technology Agency of Singapore (“GovTech Singapore”). Between
2017 and 2025, she served on the board of Swire Properties Limited, Sunevision
Limited, Octopus Cards Limited, HBX Limited and the Digital Advisory Board of
Mars Petcare. Prior to 2016, Ms Cheng was the President of Asia Pacific at
TripAdvisor and held various senior executive roles at Expedia spanning across
Beijing, Singapore, London and Hong Kong. Ms Cheng holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Engineering, a Master of Engineering degree with distinction
from the University of Cambridge and holds a graduate certificate in Artificial
Intelligence from Stanford University.
