RExCon2027 invites NUS undergraduates from all disciplines to share their research, exchange ideas, and be part of a community that celebrates curiosity, exploration and discovery.
Whether your research began in a classroom, through an independent project, with a supervisor, or as part of a larger research team, RExCon is an opportunity to take your work further — and start a conversation around it.
We welcome research at different stages of the journey. What matters is the question you are exploring, the insights you are developing, and the story your research has to tell.
Abstract Submission Deadline: 6th November, Friday, 11:59pm

Research becomes more meaningful when ideas are shared.
RExCon brings together students, researchers, educators and the wider NUS community to discover ideas across disciplines, exchange perspectives, and learn from one another.
Presenting at RExCon is your chance to:
Share your research with an interdisciplinary audience
Exchange ideas and gain new perspectives on your work
Build confidence in communicating your research
Connect with fellow student researchers, faculty, mentors and the wider research community
Discover where your research could take you next
You do not need to have all the answers. Sometimes, a good research conversation begins with a good question.
Your abstract should give readers a concise picture of what you explored, why it matters, how you approached it, and what you discovered.
Where relevant, your abstract should include:
Background / Context — What prompted the research?
Research Question / Objective — What are you trying to understand, investigate or address?
Approach / Methodology — How did you explore the question?
Findings / Insights — What did you discover? Preliminary findings may be included where applicable.
Significance / Relevance — Why does your research matter?
Conclusion / Implications — What can we learn from the work, and where might it lead?
