3 Things to Know About Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

An estimated 8 in 10 people will get HPV at some point in their lifetime^.
HPV affects both males and females.
HPV is the cause of almost all cervical cancers, as well as genital warts, among others.

Vaccination and screening are the best ways to be protected from HPV. Talk to your doctor to find out more.

From 24 August to 2 October 2026, a special rate of $200.00* (for one dose) will be offered at the University Health Centre for all NUS staff and students up to the age of 45 years old (while stocks last).

Please ensure that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions before making an appointment for the HPV vaccination:

1. This HPV vaccination promotion is strictly by appointment only.

2. A doctor’s consultation will be required for your first visit at the UHC, before the vaccination. The consultation fee will be waived during the promotional period. If you have received any HPV vaccine dose, whether in Singapore or overseas, no consultation with a UHC doctor is required. However, you must present documentation of your previous HPV vaccination(s) upon registration.

3. Kindly note that a 20-minute observation period is required after your vaccination.

4. The HPV vaccination may not be suitable for you if you are pregnant, are sensitive or allergic to any of its components, or have an acute infectious illness that you have not recovered from. It is recommended to wait for two weeks after recovery to receive the HPV vaccination.

5. The promotional rate is offered to all NUS staff and students only, up to the age of 45 years old. Consultation charges for the HPV vaccination will be waived during this promotion. The promotional rate is only valid during the stipulated promotional period and is not applicable for subsequent doses. Thereafter, the regular price of $240.00 per dose (inclusive of GST) and consultation charges will apply.

6. Your staff/student card, Singapore NRIC/FIN card, and HPV vaccination booking confirmation email are required at the point of registration.

7. All payments must be made on site at the University Health Centre.

8. Please note that the promotional offer and appointments are not transferrable.

9. Kindly note that the UHC reserves the right to amend or modify the above terms and conditions at its sole discretion and at any time.

On the Day of Your Appointment

Scan the QR code from your appointment confirmation email at the kiosk to obtain a physical queue ticket for registration or logon to MyUHC and click check-in to obtain an e-ticket.

When coming to UHC for your vaccination, please wear clothes with short sleeves or loose-fitting sleeves that can be rolled up as the vaccine will be administered in your arm.

Your appointment is important to the University Health Centre. We kindly ask for your understanding that a missed appointment or changes without prior notice may result in missed opportunities for others to receive this service.
