Discover how to construct narratives from data in this complimentary masterclass, where Dr Subhayan Mukerjee will present insights on data-driven strategic storytelling, followed by a panel discussion with alumni who are leaders in the areas of communication and analytics. Learn how to use data to construct persuasive narratives, engage your audience, and shape strategic outcomes. Limited seats available!

The session will begin with a 15–20-minute masterclass by Dr. Subhayan Mukerjee, who will introduce core principles and practical techniques for transforming data into compelling narratives. Through real-world examples and analytical approaches, participants will learn how to craft stories that not only inform but also engage and persuade. The masterclass will be followed by a panel discussion featuring accomplished alumni working at the intersection of communication and analytics.

About Dr Subhayan Mukerjee:
As an Assistant Professor with NUS Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, Communications & New Media, Assistant Professor Dr. Subhayan Mukerjee draws on his expertise in media, data, and strategic communication to help students make sense of data and professionals harness the power of storytelling in a data-driven world – emphasising the importance of continuous skill development as part of lifelong learning.

About Ambika Srinivasa:

Having completed a Master of Social Sciences in Communications (MSocSci) from NUS, Ambika is currently in the Public Relations sector, where she applies her skills in communication and storytelling to create meaningful and impactful strategies for brands and organisations.

About Darrell Lian:

An NUS FASS History alumnus, Darrell is experienced in developing products for data insights, communications and the workforce/human capital space. He is currently a Business Manager at Kontinentalist, a data-driven storytelling studio that uses data visualisation and creative storytelling to report on key topics in Asia.
