Speakers:
Mr Ruomu Hou, Quantitative Researcher, WorldQuant
Ruomu Hou joined WorldQuant in 2025 as a Quantitative Researcher and is now a Senior Quantitative Researcher. Prior to joining WorldQuant, he completed a PhD in Computer Science (specialized in Distributed Systems), as well as obtained his Double Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from National University of Singapore.
Mr Clement Yee, Quantitative Researcher, Cubist Systematic Strategies
Clement Yee is a Quantitative Researcher at Cubist Systematic Strategies, where he conducts alpha research on global equities. A big part of his work is transforming data into directly predictive insights that hold up in real-world markets. He completed his undergraduate studies in Business Analytics at NUS School of Computing and joined Cubist more than 2.5 years ago. Before quant, he studied Business Management at Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a marketing specialisation and completed internships in other industries too.
