Event Details

Among the black population of the Oaxcan Coast, polygamy is socially accepted. Juanita and Magalenda share Neri's love, and when Juanita dies, Magdalena hopes to become the only woman in Neri's life. However, Neri has other plans.

Ana is a peculiar little girl who escapes from a mental institution in search for her father to save her mother. With the help of a group of weird and funny fantastic beings, which she meets in the clinic, Ana embarks on a journey full of thrilling and moving adventures. The movie is based on the novel Ana by Daniel Emil.

Lauro, Rita and Agus are part of a punk band, who decide to bring in a keyboard player to refresh their sound. This is when they meet Pepe – a talented player with Down Syndrome. He is accepted in the band and nicknamed "The Alien". With Pepe's touch, the band rises in popularity and is discovered by Mr Gramophone, a legendary music player who decides to take the band to the top of the music scene in the technoanarcumbia genre. However, the group's rise to fame and fortune unravels their group dynamics, threatening to tear it apart.
