Groove Studio
Groove Studio traces its roots back to 2005, when it was first established as Groove Dance School at Cantonment Road by a couple who were professional dancers , with a focus on Bachata and exotic dance. In 2010, pole dancing was introduced under a new couple ownership, shifting the studio’s focus toward women’s dance and fitness. Over the years, Groove moved through several locations—Cantoment Road, Waterloo Street, Circular Road, Suntec, Tanjong Pagar, Amoy Street, Chinatown — each chapter shaping the resilient spirit of the studio.
Today, Groove Studio is a dedicated space for pole and aerial fitness, offering small-group classes in pole dance, aerial hoop, aerial silk, aerial hammock, heels dance, and stretch & strengthening. With an emphasis on strong foundations, consistent progress, and a supportive environment, Groove is a place where individuals can explore movement, express themselves, and work towards their fitness and well-being goals.
At Groove Studio, small class sizes are at the heart of our teaching philosophy. Our small class size allows our instructors to provide tailored guidance and real-time feedback. By adapting instructions to suit individual needs, we ensure that every student receives the attention they deserve, making learning more effective, safe, and enjoyable.
