Under the guidance of Associate Professor Bina Rai (Department of Biomedical Engineering) and TEL Imaginarium Team, students of the course BN4701: Serious Games for Health are tasked to craft visual storytelling games. These serious games aim to bring a narrative to life using gamification that:
- triggers an emotional understanding and sensitivity towards a target group's experiences
- enhances the players' ability to think critically and creatively when addressing the target group's needs
Overall, players can leave with a more compassionate and informed perspective, ready to apply these insights in personal and professional contexts when serving or interacting with the target population.
