National University of Singapore Suzhou Research Institute (NUSRI) was founded on 15 November 2010, with an official agreement signing ceremony between NUS and SIPAC. It was established as the very first research institute in China to be operated independently by a foreign university (NUS). NUSRI aims to build a platform for academic innovation, and industrial cooperation in technology, entrepreneurship, culture and education.
