NERI’s vision is to be a leading global institute for interdisciplinary research and education with expertise in environmental sciences and engineering. The institute’s mission is to bring together researchers and expertise across NUS to initiate, conduct and coordinate the development of strategic thematic research amongst its researchers, government agencies and industry; and train graduate students and researchers for academic and industrial careers
Centre for Water Research (CWR)

Centre for Water Research (CWR) is a leading research centre contributes to the provision of multidisciplinary water related expertise. CWR’s key research areas are (i) used water treatment and reuse, (ii) advanced treatment processes, (iii) water treatment and water quality assessment, and (iv) renewable energy and resources. CWR carries out high-quality research, innovative and sustainable solutions and provides consultation to the end users. CWR connects and brings together talented researchers and is actively involved in a wide range of international collaborative initiatives. CWR partners with government, industry and research institute around the world to conduct cutting edge research on emerging water-related topics, as well as on research topics of the future such as emerging contaminant control, energy and carbon emission reduction, and climate change.
SG LAB FORUM
SG LAB FORUM is a professional association established in Singapore to connect Lab professionals (chemists, biologists and scientists) for Learning, knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration. It is a registered body under Singapore Registry of Society. SG LAB FORUM organises training on ISO 17023 related topics and advanced analytical instruments. SG LAB FORUM organises symposium/conference on special and emerging topics. Microplastics is one of the topics for our conference's activities.
