Resources
The work of our Fellows and collaborators include outreach to educational stakeholders as well as backend research. Collated here are a diverse range of resources created by NUSTA, including filmed lectures, videos sharing best practices, articles and blogs etc.
Best Practices (Research)
Fellows leverage on their multi-disciplinary strengths and authentic interactions with colleagues and students to engage in projects and research motivated by institutional strategic needs, concerns given voice by the community and global trends affecting T&L. Some of their evidence-backed conclusions and recommendations can be accessed here.
All Videos
Fellows and invited colleagues have created numerous video resources on many different aspects of teaching and pedagogy. These include the Teachers Who Inspire videos featuring exceptional NUS educators and the many videos on geNiUSchannel sharing on teaching pedagogies, student engagement, feedback and assessments, use of technology, peer mentorship etc.
Annual Posters
As Academy Fellows serve as connectors between different sections of the NUS community, annual posters of NUSTA Fellows are sent to their faculties/schools/centres/colleges and departments, to enable colleagues to identify and reach out to Fellows. This archive is an up-to-date collection of all Academy Posters since inception.
Newsletters
From 2011-2020, NUSTA published a number of newsletters with articles encapsulating learning from Teaching Academy Masterclasses, Distinguished Lectures and other Outreach events. Fellows also shared their thoughts on pedagogy, educational trends and technology. This archive is a comprehensive collection of all published Academy Matters newsletters.
Public Lectures & Workshops
To facilitate the exchange of ideas, expertise and perspectives in education, policies, pedagogy and innovations, persons of international eminence in education have been invited by NUSTA to conduct public lectures and workshops. This section archives what Masterclass Speakers (Prof Lee Shulman, Prof Anthony Bryk, Prof Diana Laurillard) and Distinguished Speakers (Prof Rick Glofcheski, Dr Steve Wheeler, Prof W. Brad Johnson) have shared.
