Graduation Requirements

LLM-MPA

The total graduation requirement is 40 units + 40 units = 80 units.

A student must have obtained the equivalent of 64 units with the equivalent of a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 over the approved candidature period. Any student who does not meet the graduation requirements of the double degree programme may graduate with an LLM or MPA degree if the graduation requirements of the respective degrees are met.

Table A below provides the requirements of both the single and double degree programmes:

SINGLE LLM/MPA DEGREE

DOUBLE DEGREE (LLM + MPA)

·   LLM = 40 units
·
   MPA = 40 units

80 units comprising: 

(i)       LLM

40 units, of which 4 units counted from MPA and 8 units counted from LLM/MPA electives

(ii)      MPA

40 units, of which 4 units counted from LLM and 8 units counted from LLM/MPA electives

* Note: Double counting – 20% (16/80 units)
 


LLM-MPP

The total graduation requirement is 40 units + 72 units = 112 units.

A student must have obtained the equivalent of 84 units with the equivalent of a minimum CAP of 3.0 over the approved candidature period. Any student who does not meet the graduation requirements of the double degree programme may graduate with an LLM or MPP degree if the graduation requirements of the respective degrees are met.

Table B below provides the requirements of both the single and double degree programmes:

·   LLM = 40 units
·
   MPP = 72 units

112 units comprising: 

(i)       LLM

40 units, of which 4 units counted from MPP and 8 units counted from LLM/MPP electives

(ii)      MPP

72 units, of which 16 units counted from LLM and 8 units counted from LLM/MPP electives

* Note: Double counting – 25% (28/112 units)
