What’s So Amazing about Fungi?

Fungi are everywhere, yet most are often hidden in plain sight! From breaking down rocks, improving health to causing destruction, these fascinating organisms can heal and also harm. Join us, in-person or via Zoom, as we break down the spore-tacular uses of fungi, and how they add mushroom to your life!

This event is part of the Biodiversity in Focus series, aimed at sharing research findings on biodiversity in Southeast Asia and insights on ecosystem dynamics.

This event is organised by our librarian Mak Jie Ying.

Pop by the fun(gi) exhibition a few steps away! It’s mushrooming with creative student works — from posters and zines to crochet and board games. Happening till 29 May 2025 at Medicine+Science Library Atrium.
