NUS Showcases Environmental Innovation at
SIWW 2026 Water Expo

NUS participated in the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2026 Water Expo, held from 16 to 18 June 2026 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.

Under the theme “Innovative Environmental Solutions for Climate Resilience and Mitigation,” the NUS booth highlighted the University’s research strengths in sustainability and environmental innovation. Curated by the NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI) through its Scientific Committee, the showcase featured interactive research exhibits, e-posters, videos, and technology-sharing sessions, underscoring NUS’ commitment to advancing impactful solutions for environmental and water-related challenges.

A key highlight of the event was the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding at the NUS booth on 17 June 2026 with Beijing Normal University and Nanjing Normal University. These agreements mark an important step in strengthening international collaboration in water research, education, and innovation.

NERI extends its appreciation to NUS Senior Management, staff, students, partners, and event delegates for their strong support and for visiting the NUS booth.
