Wang Ruoqi
Academic Qualifications
Ph.D. student in Cartography and Geographic Information System, Fujian Normal University, China
B.Sc. in Physical Geography and Resources Environment, Fujian Normal University, China
Research Areas
Forest biomass estimation; Remote sensing; Spaceborne LiDAR
Research Interests
My research interests lie in forest remote sensing, with a focus on canopy height retrieval and aboveground biomass estimation in subtropical China's plantations, secondary and natural forests, including optimizing algorithms for large-area canopy-height extraction using spaceborne LiDAR and developing region-to-national biomass modelling with multi-source data.
Biography
Wang is a PhD student at Fujian Normal University. She joined the Centre for Nature-Based Climate Solutions with a scholarship from China Scholarship Council.
