Biography
Abdullah Hasib is a PhD student at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health under the Climate, Environment and Health Programme. He got his degree in veterinary medicine and animal science. Before joining CNCS, he was a teaching assistant in an animal science department and was assisting in various topics of research such as apiteraphy, bone scaffold, alternative feed ingredient for sustainable environment and animal gut microbiomes that may threat human health. He is now doing research in the prevention of zoonotic malaria outbreak, caused by a blood parasite called Plasmodium knowlesi that is transmitted from simian hosts to humans.
