From 22 Feb 2026, Canvas will introduce a simplified login experience for all NUS users.
Instead of choosing between two separate login buttons, staff, students, alumni* and visitors will now use a single, unified “NUS Users” button.
What this means for you:

* Alumni who graduated on/after 1 July 2013 with lifelong NUS-IDs. Alumni who graduated prior will have to create an NUS-ID via Alumni Lifelong Portal.

- Click the NUS users button and sign in as usual.

With Canvas as NUS' new Learning Management System, LumiNUS was transitioned to a read-only status on 6th January 2023 and is scheduled to be shut down on 31st December 2023. From January 2024, staff will not be able to access LumiNUS.
