Individual counselling for staff is available through the Help Employees with Advice, Resources & Therapy (NUSHeart) Programme. Staff seeking professional support and consultation may approach NUSHeart for a confidential assessment as well as short-term counselling services held away from the University premises.

• understand some of the myths and realities of counselling
• identify different types of therapy and counsellors
• understand what to expect in a counselling session

"Employee's Guide to NUSHeart" (30 mins)

Participants will be able to:
• get an overview of the NUSHeart programme
• understand when to use and how to access the service

"Mental Heallth: recognise and respond for mental health" (1 hour)

Participants will be able to:

• recognise signs of concern
establish strategies for having a conversation with an employee in need of support

"Manager's Guide to NUSHeart" (30 mins)

Participants will be able to:
• get an overview of the NUSHeart programme
• understand how to use the service as a management tool
• apply the steps to assist and refer employees to the service
