Admissions
Admission to the Double Degree in Economics
and Law Programme for Current CHS1/SOC1 students
Applications are open only to Economics Major students in
Semester 2 of their first year of studies. Current CHS1/SOC1 students
must have:
- At least B grade in H1General Paper (GP) or a good pass
in H2 Knowledge & Inquiry (KI); or a minimum SAT Critical
Reading / Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 700
accompanied by a minimum E grade for GP/KI;
- GPA at 4.0 and above, as at the end of the current academic
year;
- Average grade for all Economics courses taken (as well as
ST1131, where applicable) is at least grade A - (i.e. SJAP of
4.5 or above); and
- Read EC1101E, EC2104, and EC2303. EC2303 may be replaced by ST1131, and EC2104 by any of the MA-courses that are EC-recognized.
Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for a written test
and an interview. Selection shall be solely within the discretion
of the University and will depend upon the number of places available
in the programme.
