Notes

  1. Business students who are admitted into DDP in Economics and Business after their first year of study would have already read BSP1005 Managerial Economics, and hence are not required to read EC1101E Introduction to Economic Analysis in the essential module list. Students are required to read another 4MC Economics elective module of level-2000 or level-3000, in lieu of EC1101E.
  2. FASS’s students who are admitted into DDP in Economics and Business via mid-stream will be waived from reading DSC1007 Business Analytics – Models & Decisions in the list of compulsory common modules for all DDP students. Instead, the compulsory modules that these students will read are EC2303 Foundations for Econometrics and EC3303 Econometrics I. EC3303 Econometrics I will be classified as a common module to count towards both degrees.

Direct entry students must read DSC1007 and NOT EC2303, as DSC1007 will replace EC2303 for this DDP.
