Notes

  1. Business students who are admitted into DDP in Economics & Business after their first year of study would have already read BSP1005 Managerial Economics, and are not required to read EC1101E Introduction to Economic Analysis listed in Table B. Students are required to read another 4MC Economics elective module of level-2000 or level-3000, in lieu of EC1101E.
  2. Students who are admitted into DDP in Economics & Business after their first year of study must read common module DSC2008 Business Analytics: Data & Decisions in Table C if EC2303 Foundations for Econometrics has not been read.

However, if FASS students have already read EC2303 before being admitted into this DDP, they will be exempted from DSC2008. They must then read EC3303 Econometrics I to replace DSC2008 as a compulsory common module, counted towards both degrees' requirements.
  3. Students who are admitted directly into this DDP, at the point of admission to NUS, must read DSC2008 and not EC2303, as DSC2008 will replace EC2303 for this DDP.
  4. IHT if student's home faculty is FASS. IHD if student's home faculty is Business. DDP students who are not able to secure an Integrated Honours Thesis/Dissertation will have to do either of the following to fulfil both degree requirements separately:
    1. read one Economics honours thesis and one BIZ honours dissertation; or
    2. read enough level-4000 modules from the respective faculty to replace each of the honours thesis/dissertation requirements.
