Submission of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination results

For applicants who have sat for the HKDSE examination in 2023, please update and submit your actual results by 20 July 2023 (Thursday), 2359 hours (Singapore Time) to the NUS Office of Admissions.

Updating and submission of your final examination results can be made via the Applicant Portal. Please indicate your full name and application number on the document(s) submitted.

Multiple and duplicate submissions of document(s) will affect the processing and outcome of your application.

Submission of Advanced Placement Results

For applicants who have sat for Advanced Placement examination in 2023 and wish to be considered for admissions, please submit your Advanced Placement results by Friday, 7 July 2023, 2359 hours (Singapore Time) to the NUS Office of Admissions.

Submission can be made by uploading your documents via the uploading facility found in the Applicant Portal. Please indicate your full name and application number on the document(s) submitted.

Multiple and duplicate submissions of document(s) will affect the processing and outcome of your application.

Submission of IBDP results by IB May 2023 Session applicants

For IB Diploma Programme May 2023 Session applicants, please authorise the International Baccalaureate (IB) to send your IBDP results to the NUS Office of Admissions. NUS should receive your transcript by Friday, 7 July 2023, 2359 hours (Singapore Time).

It is mandatory for all applicants to authorise the International Baccalaureate (IB) to release their IB transcripts to NUS. Applicants can do so by informing their school’s IB coordinator. For requests to send the transcripts to NUS after 5 July, please place a request through https://rrs.ibo.org/.

Applicants must also provide NUS with your IB Personal Code via the NUS Applicant Portal by Wednesday, 5 July 2023.

Failure to complete the above will affect the processing and outcome of your application.

First Choice Bonus Points Scheme for Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Levels, Polytechnic, NUSHS and IB graduates

NUS will award bonus points for the first choice of programme of applicants to NUS with Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' Levels, Polytechnic, NUSHS and IB qualifications, for admission in Academic Year 2019/2020. This policy is aimed at supporting and encouraging students to pursue their passions and interest, and will apply to all courses except those which require interviews, i.e.,

  1. Medicine, Dentistry and Law – For these 3 programmes applicants are required to rank them as the first or second choice and meet the programme pre requisites to be considered for shortlisting for test and interview (the only exception will be for applicants who place Law as their third choice with Medicine and Dentistry as their first two choices).
  2. Architecture, Industrial Design, and Nursing – For these 3 programmes applicants are required to rank them as the first 3 choices and meet the programme pre requisites to be considered for shortlisting.
