Amid the challenges of the pandemic, a new bursary at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is bringing hope and support to aspiring dentists.

The Chew Chong Lin Dental Bursary aims to alleviate financial burdens and assist dentistry undergraduates on their path to becoming full-fledged dentists. Inspired by the altruistic vision of Emeritus Professor Chew Chong Lin ('71) and initiated by Dr Jennifer Neo ('79), both esteemed alumni and former professors of the Faculty of Dentistry, the bursary has received overwhelming support. Dr Neo's determination and extensive network led to contributions exceeding S$800,000 from over 150 alumni and friends, fostering brighter futures for aspiring dentists.
