\u201cOn our first recce visit to the Active Ageing Centre, the manager shared that the seniors there particularly enjoyed art and craft activities and often took their creations home to share with their family. Observing the paintings and other artworks displayed in the centre, my group realised that these seniors have immense creative potential. This inspired us to plan activities that could tap into this creativity while combining art and craft with a meaningful theme.<\/p>

In one of our sessions, we selected sustainability, a topic familiar to seniors from the extensive coverage in the local news. To explore this theme in a meaningful way, we designed an activity to repurpose old medical masks left over from the Covid period into scent pouches using their favourite natural scents from flowers, herbs, or oils. These scent pouches would also be useful. The seniors were delighted with their creations.<\/span><\/p>
