We leverage on our close links with the National University Hospital, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS Business School, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Our MPH graduates are trained to address both traditional and emerging public health issues, and have gone on to assume leadership and administrative positions in diverse public health disciplines in local and international settings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More information about the Admission Requirements is available at:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sph.nus.edu.sg\/education\/mph\/admission-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/sph.nus.edu.sg\/education\/mph\/admission-requirements\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Curriculum structure and requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All students are required to complete 48 units of prescribed courses.<\/p>\n<p>Students are required to complete 24 units of core courses, including a Practicum project. The maximum candidature periods are 2 years for full-time study and 4 years for part-time study respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Continuation and graduation requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A student pursuing a Master\u2019s degree by coursework must achieve a minimum GPA of 3.00 to be eligible for graduation.<\/p>\n<p>To continue in a Master\u2019s programme, a student may not have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GPA below 3.00 (but \u2265 2.50) for three consecutive semesters; or<\/li>\n<li>GPA below 2.50 for two consecutive semesters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assessment modes \/ Examination rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students\u2019 performance will be assessed through a combination of examinations and continuous assessments. It provides a foundational knowledge of public health concepts and practices, as well as an appreciation of the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in promoting health and preventing disease.<\/p>\n<p>The interdisciplinary nature of public health means that it intersects with many other fields, including healthcare, social services, education, data science, and the environment.
