Graduate Coursework Programme in Nursing
The Master of Nursing (MN) curriculum offered by NUS reflects the current healthcare needs and the importance of advanced nursing practice.
Students receive advanced clinical knowledge, skills and acquired professional attitude from a range of disciplines in advanced nursing practice, clinical medicine, social sciences and public health. Students acquire and apply learnt knowledge and skills not only on campus but also in clinical practice settings. Upon successful completion of the MN programme, graduates are eligible to apply for Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) provisional license with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) to continue with a 12-month Integrated APN Internship (IAI).
This programme aims to enable MN graduate to perform the nine Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) core Entrusted Professional Activities (EPAs) at the expected level of entrustment (LOE).
They will acquire knowledge, skills and attitude to build their capabilities in the five competencies domains determined by SNB: Patient care, Clinical knowledge, Interpersonal and communication skills, Practice-based learning and improvement, and Professionalism.

Programme Structure
The MN is offered on a full-time basis over 18 months. It consists of 70 units , with 40 units for theoretical courses and 30 units for the clinical practicum.

Applicants must fulfil both academic requirements and SNB admission requirement to the Master of Nursing programme. Applicants may need to attend admission interview based on the admission process.
