It was an eventful experience over the 3-days where we get to meet with government agencies, academia, industry and public and share with them the state-of-the-art innovation and technologies of NUS.<\/p>\r\n<p>Like previous years, NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI) was again tasked to organize the NUS booth this year which highlighted some of NUS&#8217;s pioneering research and innovations for accelerating the low-carbon transition. It was a pleasure to witness NUS researchers animatedly sharing their expertise and exchange of ideas with the visitors at the booth.<\/p>\r\n<p>Highlights of the Showcase:<\/p>\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/14.0.0\/svg\/1f31f.svg\" alt=\"\ud83c\udf1f\" \/> Booth Exhibits\/Tours:<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Many overseas and local visitors came to our booth to understand our exhibits and interacted with our researchers.\u00a0It was a good opportunity to see our researchers explaining their research, often in layman&#8217;s language to the visitors.<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Each exhibit setup clearly featured an informative infographic, interactive displays, and prototype setups, showcasing the innovative feature of the research.<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Small and large group discussions were animated, with researchers sharing and engaging in deep conversations.<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Booth tours for invited guests, including NUS President Prof. Tan Eng Chye, NUS Senior Management, Agilent Technologies and Ripple2wave colleagues.\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/14.0.0\/svg\/1f31f.svg\" alt=\"\ud83c\udf1f\" \/> Two Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) were signed:<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/nus-environmental-research-institute-neri_nusimpact-nusresearch-agilent-activity-7209376204183805954-HHjf?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NERI and Agilent Technologies on 19 June 2024<\/a> marked a significant milestone towards enhancing chemical analytics of emerging contaminants for sustainable environmental solutions.<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/nus-environmental-research-institute-neri_nusimpact-ripple2wave-innovation-activity-7209711311742537728-kSzc?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NERI and Ripple2Wave Incubator (R2Wi) on 20 June 2024<\/a>, opened more doors for the innovation and commercialization of water technology and sustainability.\r\nSpecial Thanks to our distinguished guests:<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Prof. Tan Eng Chye, NUS President<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Prof. Thorsten Wohland, Director of NUS Research Governance &amp; Enablement<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Dr. Koh Shuwen, Director, NUS Technology Transfer and Innovation<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Dr. Vimala Sivanesan, Associate Vice President of Services Sales at Agilent Technologies<br \/>\r\n\u2022 Dr. Lim Mong Hoo, Senior Advisor at Ripple2Wave Incubator\r\n<p>We are looking forward to the strategic collaborations and partnerships that will emerge from SIWW.
