{"id":6395,"date":"2024-04-04T12:18:31","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T04:18:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nus.edu.sg\/neri\/?page_id=6395"},"modified":"2024-04-04T12:18:31","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T04:18:31","slug":"building-water-resilience-through-research-and-collaboration-workshop-on-22-march-2024","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nus.edu.sg\/neri\/events\/eventsgallery\/building-water-resilience-through-research-and-collaboration-workshop-on-22-march-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Building Water Resilience through Research and Collaboration Workshop on 22 March 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1>\n\t\tBuilding Water Resilience through Research and Collaboration Workshop on 22 March 2024\n\t<\/h1>\n\t<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QIP1BZLicwM?si=aAOmSO7JpMIA2Rij\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n\t<p>On\u00a0the morning of March 22, 2024, the NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI) and Centre for Water Research (CWR) at NUS Civil and Environmental Engineering jointly organized a Workshop on &#8220;<strong>Building Water Resilience through Research and Collaboration<\/strong>,&#8221; coinciding with the globally observed\u00a0<strong>World Water Day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0workshop served as a platform to spotlight cutting-edge\u00a0water-related\u00a0research in critical areas such as Water Quality Surveillance, Water Treatment and Reclamation, and Membrane Innovation.\u00a0 Through the\u00a0showcasing\u00a0of\u00a0the pioneering\u00a0research\u00a0work and\u00a0the sharing of knowledge from the\u00a0expertise, the workshop fostered meaningful discussions among the diverse array of stakeholders from academia, research institutions, government agencies and industry practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>We\u00a0would like to\u00a0thank everyone for spending such a meaningful morning with us to mark the World Water Day.<\/p>\n<p>NUS Speakers included:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Session on Next-Generation Membranes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prof. Prakash P.
