{"id":2300,"date":"2021-05-18T17:24:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-18T09:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nus.edu.sg\/neri\/?page_id=2300"},"modified":"2024-07-29T13:49:36","modified_gmt":"2024-07-29T05:49:36","slug":"unique-framework-and-approach","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.nus.edu.sg\/neri\/unique-framework-and-approach\/","title":{"rendered":"Unique framework and approach"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t<h1><strong>Sky-to-Soil Integrative Framework<\/strong><\/h1>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nus.edu.sg\/neri\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/INTPREP-website_rev-4.jpg\" alt=\"INTPREP website_rev 4\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"INTPREP website_rev 4\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<h5>In order to bridge basic science with outcomes for field application and for policy development, we have adopted an unique &#8220;Sky-to-Soil&#8221; approach which:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><u>Integrates <\/u>field-based, laboratory\/GHG based controlled and observatory studies for developing cause-and-effect relationships.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5><u>Connects<\/u> different scales from macro-to-micro, small-to medium-sized laboratory, GHG and plot scales to large field-based scenarios. This is achieved through a combination of high-density data used in advanced mechanistic and process modelling.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Establishes predictive models key for policy developers and the plantation industry of both large and small sizes.
