NUS-Imperial College London Research Collaboration

The NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI), together with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at NUS, had the honour of hosting Professor Dominik Weiss and Dr. Trevor Ferris from Imperial College London on March 24 and 25, 2025.

This visit marks a significant step in the NUS-Imperial College London Research Collaboration, spearheaded by NUS Principal Investigator (PI), Assoc. Prof. Olivier Lefevre, and Imperial College PI, Prof. Dominik Weiss. The collaboration focuses on pioneering research in the electrosorption of arsenic through the development of novel electrodes.

The two-day workshop was an enriching experience, fostering an exciting exchange of knowledge and aligning the research activities between NUS and Imperial College London. During the NERI-CEE Seminar on March 25, 2025, Prof. Weiss and Dr. Ferris generously shared their groundbreaking research and extensive analytical expertise with the research community. The event also facilitated discussions on expanding the collaboration to new areas of mutual interest.

We are enthusiastic about the prospects of this collaboration and anticipate many successful outcomes from this project and future initiatives. Our sincere gratitude goes to Assoc. Prof. Lefevre for orchestrating this productive workshop, and to Prof. Weiss and Dr. Ferris for their invaluable contributions and time spent with us.
