Current focuses include enzymes for food and energy industries, and scaffold proteins for biotransformation.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<strong>Do you have a distinctive viewpoint to your research?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I try to decipher protein structure-function relationships that are not only intellectually stimulating, but also hold great promise for industrial and translational applications.<\/p>\n<h3>\n<strong>What do you see as your future research directions?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I hope to be able to achieve rational design of enzymes with high confidence.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Does your laboratory have a particularly strong research expertise?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Aa structural biologist, I specialize in X-ray crystallography, and have active collaborations for cryoEM projects.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Recent Publications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>1.
