Kay is interested in utilizing remote sensing techniques to study ecosystem functions over tropical forest ecology. She is also interested in forest restoration, disturbance ecology and fruit and seed dispersal.<\/p>\n

Biography <\/strong><\/p>\n

Kay is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions at NUS. She is exploring aboveground carbon estimation over Southeast Asia using optical satellites and structural attributes . She was trained as a field ecologist and remote sensing scientist. During her PhD, she was involved in building flora inventories and remote sensing datasets in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
