Having previously worked as a researcher and advisor at Deltares, Robyn has been active in the topic of NbS and climate resilience for several years, working closely with government and NGOs on upscaling NbS, climate risk assessments and advising on adaptation options for sustainable development. Robyn&#8217;s main technical expertise lies in remote sensing and data science. Combined with her broad background in marine biogeochemistry, ocean law and policy and data science, Robyn&#8217;s primary interest lies in the science-policy interface, translating societal needs to knowledge and scientific requirements. Her previous research and advisory experiences mainly involved Southeast Asia, Europe and Small Island (Developing) States (SIDS), working together and for projects with the World Bank, Conservation International and the World Wildlife Fund.
