Abigail is interested in the socio-economic effects of climate crises, mitigation and adaption. Abigail’s master’s thesis was on “Categorising ‘Climate Refugees’: Migration Inequalities within ASEAN”. This research focused on the adverse effects of the climate crisis on livelihoods from a migration policy angle, analysing intersectional factors that contribute to changing migration patterns in ASEAN and the role of language in international law and regional policy.<\/p>\n

Within the Centre, she primarily focuses on helping with fundraising and promoting the Centre’s research to inform policy in the private and public sectors.<\/p>\n\n
