We are always on the move, sometimes unwillingly when we are caught up in circumstances beyond our control. Set in an old trolley bus as a metaphor of life that is constantly on the run, join NUS Chinese Drama and NUS Chinese Dance as they bring you on two escape journeys – from the past to present – that probe how we make decisions in a state of flux, where we are shuttling back and forth between ourselves and the expectations of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set in WWII, a resistant fighter husband and a pregnant reluctant wife. A bereaved woman who witnessed her son’s murder. A sister who wishes to feed her starving brother. A mother trying to prevent her daughters from becoming comfort women. When survival instincts kick in, is anyone truly responsible for their actions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
