CELC Launches its First Graduate Programmes in English Communication Teaching<\/h2>\r\n

The Centre for English Language Communication (CELC) is pleased to announce the launch of its first suite of graduate programmes. This marks a significant milestone in its commitment to advancing English language teaching and communication. The new offerings include a Master of Arts in English Communication Teaching, a Graduate Diploma in English Communication Teaching, and a Graduate Certificate in English Communication Teaching.<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

The Master of Arts in English Communication Teaching is a comprehensive coursework-based programme.\u00a0 It focuses on how English is taught and learned in the context of using English as the Medium of Instruction (EMI), addresses issues related to the use and integration of AI tools in teaching and learning, and includes mentorship by our award winning teachers as well as an opportunity to teach a real class. The Diploma and Graduate Certificate options provide flexible pathways for professionals seeking targeted upskilling or a foundation for further study.<\/p>\r\n

Dr Jan Zhou, Programme Director, is enthusiastic about the new programmes: “The launch of these graduate qualifications reflects CELC’s dedication to excellence in language education and our responsiveness to the evolving needs of educators and learners. We are excited to nurture the next generation of English communication specialists who will make a positive impact in diverse educational and professional contexts.”<\/p>\r\n

Applications for the inaugural intake will open soon, with classes commencing in the upcoming academic year. Further details about the programmes, including admission requirements and course structure, will be available on the CELC website.<\/p>\r\n
