Students assigned to this course must pass it in order to graduate.<\/p>\n<h4>\n\t\tObjectives\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<p>This course aims to help students:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>write expository essays through good organization and clarity of expression<\/li>\n<li>develop an awareness and application of grammar rules in communication<\/li>\n<li>summarize and synthesize reading texts for reflection and response<\/li>\n<li>practise critical review and critique of issues<\/li>\n<li>build confidence in expressing ideas to an audience.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>\n\t\tAssessment\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<ul>\n<li>EM1202 is a 100% Continuous Assessment course<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>\n\t\tPrerequisites\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<p>This course is open only to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Music programme.
