Biodata

Nachamma Sockalingam is Assistant Director at the Office of Undergraduate Studies, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), where she heads up the Learning Sciences Lab. She holds a Ph. D. in Educational Psychology from Erasmus University, Netherlands. She is a passionate educator with extensive experience in teaching, faculty development, and educational research in higher education. She has worked in a broad range of educational environments such as problem-based, project-based and blended learning. She has conducted several academic development workshops and presentations across the globe. She has been an international consultant with UNESCO (Bangkok) and an expert panel member with The NMC Horizon Report (Higher Education). Her contributions to the field of education has been recognized with 2 QS-Wharton Awards. Her research interest is learner-centered, technology enhanced teaching and learning.
